Kyle Gallaway is an artist from Somers Connecticut. He attended the New Hampshire Institute of Art, in Manchester New Hampshire. In 2012 he received a Bachelors of Fine Arts while studying ceramic art. Kyle’s ceramic work varies from functional pottery, to non-functional sculptures. He finds inspiration from unique ocean creatures, intricate flowers, minerals, and opalescent gas produced by stars. . He attempts to capture their visual elements while utilizing his art as a way of interpreting and communicating. Applying these influences to everyday functional objects and sculptures connects our lives to our natural setting. Currently Kyle is working in his studio in Somers, CT and at Alison Palmers Studio in Kent, CT. You may find his work for sale in his online shop, at local art fairs, shows, and shops.
